Short-Term Running Goals:

I plan to run a 5k sub-18 by the end of next XC season, or better.

I also want to improve my mile time by 20 seconds or more.

Long-Term Running Goals:

I would like to run a half marathon, a full marathon, and maybe an ultra marathon sometime in my life.

Personal:

I am on the Pine View High School Cross Country Team.  I am in the Class of 2014, so I'm a senior this school year.  I joined XC my junior year.  Cameron Brown is my younger brother, and faster than I am.

I felt good on the mile repeats. I was able to hit below my 85% time by a good margin on the first one. On the second one I almost forgot we were supposed to go faster, and was settled in to hit right on the 85% pace. I realized my mistake within the first 200 and tried to speed up to where I needed to be. I beat my first mile by 1 second.
