Short-Term Running Goals:

I plan to run a 5k sub-18 by the end of next XC season, or better.

I also want to improve my mile time by 20 seconds or more.

Long-Term Running Goals:

I would like to run a half marathon, a full marathon, and maybe an ultra marathon sometime in my life.

Personal:

I am on the Pine View High School Cross Country Team.  I am in the Class of 2014, so I'm a senior this school year.  I joined XC my junior year.  Cameron Brown is my younger brother, and faster than I am.

I'd say I hit my time pretty well on the twelve minute tempo we ran, but my watch kept jumping around with the mile pace. Of course, judging on the different times I saw, I averaged about a 6:40 like I needed. After we finished the tempo, and had to even out our mileage at 6, I became an idiot and miscalculated how far I, and the guys with me, still had to run. So we decided to get in our 6th mile on the track when we got back to the high school.
